The Community Prayer Box is one way our church is reaching out to our community to provide support.
The Community Prayer Box was installed and dedicated on June 24, 2018. It's a locked box with a slot for prayer requests. Anyone with a prayer concern is welcome to use it. It can be an avenue through which someone who is not connected with a particular church can still request prayer. Even if someone has a church family already, extra prayers wouldn't hurt. The request can be anonymous. No names are required. There is also a place to write contact information if a call from the pastor is something that they'd like.
When a request is received, the Prayer Team is notified and prayers are said daily.
Guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, our mission is:
“Serving with Love, Growing in Faith.”
We aim to provide an environment where individuals are welcomed and encouraged to learn, live, and share the teachings of Jesus Christ and to celebrate in the worship of God.
We invite you to join us in this mission. Whether it's through volunteering, donating, or offering a prayer, every contribution makes a difference. Together, we can impact the world and spread the light of Christ.

WE NEED YOU!
Each and every Wednesday morning from 10-12, we are working on Bazaar projects in the church basement. The Bazaar is the largest fundraiser for the U.M.W. The funds are used to support the church budget, Methodist retirement homes, Compassion Pregnancy Center, Turning Point (a shelter for abused women and children), Red Bird Mission, Heffer Project, The Sharing Org (visits nursing homes), Cass Corridor’s Dress for Success program, and postage for the card progrem. You can see why we need many hands to help create the items that we will be selling on November 14, 2026 - BAZAAR DAY!
No special talents are needed. We will find jobs that you are comfortable doing and maybe teach you something new. Please try to help us raise the funds needed to help all of the groups that need our support.
