The Community Prayer Box is one way our church is reaching out to our community to provide support.
The Community Prayer Box was installed and dedicated on June 24, 2018. It's a locked box with a slot for prayer requests. Anyone with a prayer concern is welcome to use it. It can be an avenue through which someone who is not connected with a particular church can still request prayer. Even if someone has a church family already, extra prayers wouldn't hurt. The request can be anonymous. No names are required. There is also a place to write contact information if a call from the pastor is something that they'd like.
When a request is received, the Prayer Team is notified and prayers are said daily.
Dear Richmond First Family, I am your pastor, Sunhwa.
As I begin my fourth year of serving as your pastor, I find myself reflecting on God's faithfulness and His grace. It is truly a privilege to continue this journey of ministry with you.
When God first called me to Richmond First, I did not know what lay ahead. I simply trusted that God would lead us together.
Looking back over these past three years, I have learned that ministry is not about having all the answers or possessing great abilities. It is about trusting God each day and faithfully responding to God's call.
These years have brought many joyful moments.
We have worshiped together, prayed together, celebrated milestones, welcomed new friends, and served our community.
We have also experienced challenges that have stretched our faith and reminded us to depend on God more deeply. Through every season, God has remained faithful.
As we begin another year together, my prayer is that we will continue to seek God's will with humble hearts. May we show grace in every challenge, choose hope over discouragement, and live by faith rather than fear.
The church belongs to Jesus Christ, and He continues to lead us into His future.
I believe God still has wonderful plans for Richmond First. Let us continue to love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously as we share Christ's love with our community.
Thank you for allowing me to serve alongside you.
I look forward to what God will do in this new year

BUSY HANDS
THE BUSY HANDS BOX IS EMPTY!
We need your ideas - it can be a picture of something you'd like us to make, or a kit you never finished or never opened.
We need lots of "stuff" to keep our hands BUSY on Wednesday mornings from 10-12 PM.
More than anything, we need YOU to spend some time with us as we work to help make the Bazaar a success. It is the primary fundraiser for the women, helping support the church's many activities.
Always good conversation, tea, and treats.
Please join us - We don't bite, I promise.
WEDNESDAY MORNINGS FROM 10- 12 PM WE ARE WORKING IN THE CHURCH BASEMENT ON PROJECTS TO SELL AT THE BAZAAR ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14TH.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME BY ANY WEDNESDAY.
We are delighted to have you with us. Whether you're a long-time member or visiting for the first time, we want you to know that you are warmly welcomed and cherished. Our community is built on faith, love, and fellowship, and we are excited to share with you, to find inspiration, peace, and joy.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to send us a message or contact one of our volunteers or staff members at the church.
