"A community of believers changed by God's grace and learning to live as disciples in God's Kingdom"
Our Purpose: The organized unit of United Methodist Women is to be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 12:30 PM @ the church.
This is a sharing time of planned programs, devotions, meditation, and fellowship with refreshments.
Busy Hands: Every Wednesday from 10AM - Noon, March through November, a group of women with varied gifts meet to craft items for the Annual Bazaar. The Annual Bazaar is the 2nd Saturday in November.
This group of Christian women encourages each other in Christian fellowship and welcomes "U" to share the joy of UMW!
One of the many Ministries that our UMW donates to is the
"Dress for Success"
Uniforms for Cass Community School Children
This year they invited the congregation to help them support this great cause that distributes school clothing for homeless children/youth in the Cass Community School District. Because of the congregations and our ladies generous donations we were able to collect:
20 pair of pants
127 pair of underwear
104 pair of socks
Thank you so much to all who donated and helped to make a difference in a homeless child's life.
